Bram is a Project Architect at Apt.
He joined Apt in 2018 from Foster + Partner Architects, where for over a decade he was involved in numerous projects including Central Markets, a 650,000m² mixed-use development scheme in Abu Dhabi and the design and construction of two 161,458 sq.ft. carbon-neutral office buildings. His extensive experience also includes the design and construction of the Bund Finance Centre, a 420,000m² mixed-use scheme in Shanghai which includes five tall office towers, a 70m 5-star hotel, a retail podium and a culture centre.
At Apt, Bram is the Project Architect on 2 Trafalgar Way, a high-quality student-led mixed-use campus providing a mix of residential uses, supporting amenities, commercial office space as well as a restaurant and retail offer, which once complete is set to be the tallest Student Passivhaus building in Europe.
Bram’s drive to build at all scales, from humble garage extensions and row houses to large mixed-use projects has given him a unique understanding of complex briefs which create spaces that have people and context at their heart.
